Two orthopaedic surgeons and a physician assistant comprise the South Carolina Orthopaedic Institute (SCOI) providing orthopaedic services to the Regional Medical Center 24 hours a day, seven days a week.

They specialize in all aspects of orthopaedic care, both operative and non operative, including:
  • Arthritis Management  
  • Arthroscopic Surgery
  • Bone and Joint Care  
  • General Orthopaedics
  • Hand, upper extremity and microvascular surgery
  • Sports Medicine
  • Spine Surgery
  • Total Joint Replacement
  • Trauma

Patients are seen by appointment only. SCOI accepts and participates in Medicare, Medicaid, BCBS and most private insurance plans.
