The Healthy Living Center (HLC) is a comprehensive endocrinology program that provides medical evaluation, treatment, education, management and support for those battling endocrine-related diseases. Physician Referral Required

The HLC areas of expertise include:
  • Type 1 Diabetes, including insulin pump therapy with continuous glucose monitoring
  • Type 2 Diabetes, including insulin pump therapy as well
  • Gestational Diabetes
  • Adrenal disease
  • Thyroid disease
  • Osteoporosis
  • Pituitary disease
  • Parathyroid disease
  • Hypogonadism
The HLC program provides: 
  • Medical evaluation and treatment  
  • Individualized wellness plans
  • Diabetes education and management tools
  • Nutrition, counseling and tips for healthy eating

  Kimberly Boggs Pugh, MD, is a board certified physician in Endocrinology and Internal Medicine. She holds a medical degree from West Virginia University, Morgantown, W.Va. She completed a residency in internal medicine at University Hospital of Jacksonville in Jacksonville, Fla. In addition, Dr. Pugh completed a fellowship in endocrinology at the Medical University of South Carolina. She is also a certified diabetes educator and clinical densitometrist.  

Kimberly Boggs Pugh, MD

  Temple Simpson, PA, MPAS, CDE, is a highly-skilled and experienced endocrinology specialist. She holds a Master of Science degree in physician assistant studies from the Medical University of South Carolina and a Bachelor of Science degree in health science with a minor in microbiology from Clemson University. She is also a certified diabetes educator.
