About Our Staff

  Thomas T. Chow, MD
A board-certified surgeon, Dr. Chow’s professional interests include laparoscopic surgery, breast surgery, surgical oncology and GI endoscopy. He completed his residency in general surgery at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City. He received his medical degree from the Medical University of South Carolina and received a bachelor’s degree, magna cum laude, from the University of South Carolina Honors College in Columbia.
Mauricio Bassante, MD
A member of the American College of Surgeons and the Society of American Gastrointestinal and Endoscopic Surgeons, Dr. Bassante’s professional interests include gastrointestinal surgery, endoscopic surgery and laparoscopic surgery. He completed his residency and internships in general surgery at East Tennessee State University in Johnson City. He received his medical degree from the Pontificia Universidad Católica Del Ecuador in Ecuador. In addition to English, Dr. Bassante is fluent in Spanish, Italian and French.

Holly D. Clardy, FNP
Holly Clardy, FNP, is a member of the Academy of Oncology Nurse and Patient Navigators and the Oncology Nursing Society. She obtained her master’s in Nursing from the University of South Carolina and a bachelor’s in Nursing from Clemson University. Holly has over 650 hours of clinical experience in acute care, obstetrics and gynecology, pediatric medicine and family medicine. Her professional development includes a certification in telemetry and courses in hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and blood marrow stem cell transplant.
