A specialty of Internal Medicine, Cardiology focuses on disorders of the heart. Cardiologists diagnose and treat a variety of conditions such as coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, congenital heart defects, electrophysiology disorders and heart failure.
Regional Medical Center (RMC) provides a variety of cardiac services provided by our knowledgeable on-staff board certified or board eligible cardiologists. Our services include regular and nuclear stress tests, echocardiograms, electrocardiograms, transesophageal echocardiograms, cardioversions, heart catheterizations, permanent pacemakers and defibrillator implants.
